I put up a tentative FS ad a while ago and someone has emailed me asking if they
can be sent to Ireland - I originally said pickup only or meet by arrangement, which wouldn't include Ireland
I feel a bit nervous about sending stuff overseas, so any thoughts on payment security plus potential ways of getting the goods (2 seats) there
safely? I have looked on a couple of courier sites and based on a guesstimate of weight and size, it looks like they would cost £50-60+, (Parcelfarce
was nearly £200) with minimal cover of only £50.
Cheers
Simon
I'd deliver them if I were you, Ireland's a great place for a holiday, and MUCH nicer than Scotland. Whereabouts do they need to go to?
Having asked that, it doesn't really matter as anywhere in Ireland you're not far from somewhere well worth a visit.
I don't expect this helps much, does it?

???????? WTF has Scotland got to do with it.
Your entitled to your opinion mate but emphasising the MUCH seems a bit hostile to me.
calm down, calm down!
I wasn't casting aspersions on any country - just a question about shipping!

Look in Yellow Pages for transport companies that specialise in Ireland. Pallets can go for as cheap as £50 if to a town.

Thank you for clearing that up. Humbug sorry for hijacking your post I hope your deliveries work out OK.
ask mark at triton. he has sent seats all over the place.
I've been to both Ireland and Scotland. They're both very nice, but for you, Scotland is easier to get to isn't it?
I sent a £200 ebay item to ireland with no probs
I sell some things on ebay and usually use a company called www.interparcel.com, they have always been great and I have never had any issues.
I sold a set of trim for a Peugeot 205 to a guy in Ireland and it cost me £25 to send it over, no problems and arrived in 48hrs
only prob nowadays with interparcel is they have a limit of 50kg which sucks when we send big stuff out as we have to find someone else.
I would think that the seats would be under tho. Another tip is to give them a call once you have a quote online you can often get the price down a
bit.
They also use good couriers such as UPS etc
