Many of you know about liam.mccaffrey and his current battle against the chemo. I had something very similar in 1995 and had the same stem cell
transplant.
We both feel very humble compared to Tom. He's the son of an ex-boss of mine and was born with cancer which caused him to lose an eye. 4 years
later, at 18, it came back and now he is terminally ill. He's set out to repay the care he's had at the Christie Hospital and is half way
into the Coast to Coast walk. The weather last wek, as you can imagine, was not special for hill walking but then he can't be too choosy about
the timing.
If you have time, please look at these news reports. I defy you to be unmoved. Links to his justgiving donation site are on each page.

I'm happy to say I'm done with chemo, but its stoies like this fella and countless other people who I sat next to in chemo which make me
realise how lucky I am.
There are far too many awful things which can affect families and unfotunatley cancer is right up at the top of the list.
Well done mate, you're hard as nails.
Yes,very moving that
,brave lad.
