0-62 in 3.9 seconds. As fast as a good BEC, and only 5 times as much engine.

looks far nicer than any BEC I've ever seen

i must say, i dont really like those...for 525hp its a bit slow seeing as an evo9fq360 can do it in that....
wouldnt mind that engine in a locost chassis though

Mmmm nice.

But bye-bye Gallardo sales! I'd always read Audi were'nt going to make an Audi that competes with their little Lambo. Must have changed their minds...

hate the interior looks like some chav job

5.2 litre and 525bhp is not good, diesels are nearly doing those "bhp per litre" figs now. That should have at least 700bhp or have a much smaller engine.

And another thing - 1600kgs, what is it a bus!

Yeah - with shedloads of turbo boost and the associated lag. 100bhp/litre for a NA production car engine can still be considered pretty 'special' and certainly isn't commonplace yet.

It will only have 525BHP now but in six months VW COUGH sorry ,Audi will bring one out with even more Bhp.

No mention of lag here:

And I'm not even a fan of BMW

Sierra Cosworth - 2 litre petrol 200bhp 1987ish
BMW 123D - 2 litre diesel 204bhp (and 50 to the gallon!

...but thats still 320bhp short. Show me the 500+bhp production diesel that you think they should use.

If bhp/ltr is what matters, maybe they should use a bike engine...200bhp/lt?

Anyway I think it's ugly.

It's also 3.2 litres short - do the maths!
