Help with eBay listing please!
Russ-Turner - 17/12/08 at 11:25 AM

Hey all.

Complete halfwit alert but for some reason an eBay listing I have just created will not let me sit the description in the way I want it.
When writing the description in the text box it is as follows (example)

This auction is for a Locost.

It is fast.

Isn't it a lovely colour?

Wouldn't you like to buy it?

When I preview the listing and / or make it active the description now looks like this...

This auction is for a Locost. It is fast. Isn't it a lovely colour. Wouldn't you like to buy it?

Of course on a few hundred word description this looks utter shite and like I didn't study English in school. Does anyone know what I have cocked up? Thanks.

I think you may well have typed your item description in the HTML editor, instead of the normal straight forward bit maybe?

if you want to put a single line break in your text
like this, just insert
or if you want to put a paragraph break (double linespace)

like this, type

see if that helps?

just wondering, are you going to post the link to the auction when it's up? I'd like to see the car in question

It's not a car mate, was just using that as an example.
