Nothing we didn't know but the gloves are off now.
Although we did have a good idea, I personally did not know the sort of figures involved. I think that this latest spat is yet another nail in the F1 coffin
The higher the stakes the harder they squabble.
What gets me is he fact that they're allowed to call F1 a "sport".
$80 million MORE !
But I suspect Big Ron knows exactly how much they get any way.
F1 days may be limited.
I'd rather watch a BSB or Moto GP round any day.

How Much
It was all going to end in tears... that's what happens wherever there's corruption.

Fair and big business rarely go together. What's a few million here and there? All the principals line their pockets enough and are not going to
starve, so it won't make the slightest difference to them.
It is very odd that the teams give Bernie the rights to advertise and get revenues, and then complain when there isn't enough money. They also
complain when Montreal is cancelled, when the numbers indicate that the organisers couldn't pay the extortionate amount demanded by Bwana Bernie.
So having your cake and eating it too is supposed to be business as usual. Get a grip.
Just a thought,
but is "constructors" money split between the engine maker and the chassis maker,
therefore those teams that make both get a twin payment?

Bernie 'bought' Ferrari's participation in F1 with the 'extra'.
Without Ferrari F1 would not exist, and you always pay your 'star' player more than anybody else!

Given the state of the motor industry I bet the sponsorship from that side will evaporate next year. Once that is gone all we are left with is mobile
billboards going too fast to read the ads. Eventually the TV people will refuse to pay bernie and the sponsors will refuse to pay teams as they
won't get the exposure and we might get back to seeing proper motorsport again
Caber
I agree Caber. Most multi nationals will pull out of many many sponsorship deals not just motorsport.
Just listening to the radio this afternoon and Landrover AKA Tata (who sponsor or have dealings with Ferrari) are asking to be propped up by the
goverment????
I cab see the need to save the jobs but It would be difficult IMHO to justify throwing money at it if tata are spending cash on non essential
sponsorship.???
