What was it called?

Hi

A member posted some pics of his new kit he just collected.
Trying to remember the name of the car.
The pics were of the chassis on the roof of, I think, a BMW.
One pic was a shadow of themselves as they were driving along the road
The kit was a rear engined 7 type.
Not a lot of info I know, but I'm sure someone out there has a better memory than me...........
Infact I expect everyone out there has a better memory than me

Cheers David

Riot or R1ot from what you describe

Yes, sure it was a R1ot - not much will go on the roof of a car - i wouldn't like to see anyone try with one of mine!!!

Mr Dog bloke,
That was Ashg's mate who bought the Riot I think..I wandered round the Show with them while they spent their hard earned on lights and stuff..."reet pair of loons"

And yes I'm at work, just having a fag and a coffee and back to it boss honest..

Cheers,
Mark

When I first started out doing the Locost I had two blokes collect kits...no sign of trailers just roof racks... One came all the way down here to Cornwall on the roof of a Passat....keen indeed. The other (Adam something went to Oxford I think)....So it can be done

I carried my Locost chassis on the roof of my Mum's Pug 405.

And my Locost is 10% wider and longer than standard... so yes, it can be done.
