Bbbbrrrrr its was cold out today but I thought I had better get something done that I have been putting off for ages.
Jag tow hook
I have got to shove a ball on the end, then I will have one of the very few XK8's with a hitch
Not sure the Jaguar enthusiasts clubs would agree though.
Mark,
Couldn't you have got something a bit more discreet
Have you done the wiring yet? I've done the mechanical bit on mine, but haven't quite got the bottle to do the electrical stuff - funny
modern looms with all these sensors is worrying me!
Might let Curds do it

Iv got used to seeing them in the jec magazine.
I actually need to fit one to mine so i can tow the locost places before its otr
Hello Simon
I paid the extra for an Isolator box that's tomorrows
task, it just got to cold to carry on today. The good thing about jags is that modern looms seems to have defeated them so I have a nice bunch of
wires to cut into like a car made in the 70's.
Its not as bad as it looks as the back bit unbolts, still a bit fugly but I cannot see the back when driving
Just got to build my trailer now then I,m ready for next years track days.
When you back off to the rolling road ? Enthusiams a bit thin around here, the tow bar been in my shed since October.
Regards Mark

Mark,
My enthusiasm is there, but I'm having trouble getting the garage up to a "workinable" temp - so it's gonna have to wait.
I toying with the idea of getting another engine so I can do the one that's in there "on the bench" so to speak. I may have a major
rethink and go for a single turbo as I'm having trouble figuring out how to get sensible o/s turbo oil drain.
Does your mate have any complete (inj ecu etc), useable 3.9 or 4.6 motor's lying around at very sensible prices?
Cheers
Simon
Hello Simon
Complete 4.6 talk to me, I have one that needs looking at but it has ported heads and a hot cam should be good for 300BHP.
It did get hot so I have a spare set of pistons, injection is there (4.2 jag items)although very grubby now, you will need to use you emerald ECU.
Price £500, its stood, if you pull it apart and its now rubbish full refund will be provided.
When running 5 years ago it certainly made my landrover fly !!!
I,m sure Damien has some other stuff around as he broke a few cars recently.
This looks like the best option though:
3.9 range rover
Through away the rest!
Regards Mark
