Mine has stopped working and have MOT in a weeks time. Fuse tested up OK. Motor stopped working when the freeze first hit. Anyone know how to access
it. I assume its behind the drivers side wheel arch liner. Ive seen that there is what looks like a pull off flap under there - is that what i need to
pull off to get in?
Cant hear it when stalks are pulled so assume its stopped working as opposed to the pipes being blocked.
Hopefully its just a wire off or something similar, or an easily replaced part using a Halfords stocked part.
pour in a kettle of boiling water and try again in half an hour. Missy put plain water in her 106 and it stopped working due to the water freezing,
till I did that like
i was going to try that but the bloody bottle is full! Cant drain without pulling the pump out etc etc.

Will a bike tyre pump suck the water out so i can try whippy's idea with the hot water?
dont think i have a spare washer pump in garage that i could use to empty the bottle.

As a former owner of a 106 those cars are bullet proof Its the small things that go wrong on this car like handbrake adjusters and the internal
fan.......
This car is making the trip back down to Rome this summer with macspeedy behind the wheel, not to shabby for a car formerly owned by Rob MERCD...150

Bulletproof?? I wish, mines a 98 with less than 50k on the clocks and it always needs something doing, plus being french everything takes twice as long to do as on any car. My golf is bulletproof, mk 2, 1990, 120k on the clocks and no probs. The 106 though....few weeks ago had to replace the fuel pump, this week just redone the exhaust which rusted into nothing. They drive well when they drive but are b*stards when they go wrong. Sorry for the rant...I have exams in a week and am stressed!
