Anyone know where you can get barrier cream on the high street?

halfords have it, its with the swafega i think.
i could be very wrong, but i think you can even get it in boots...

All chemists will have it

Usually their own brand is much cheaper just ask someone behind the counter...if you are going the 'locost' route.........

Yup. Any old chemist will have it.....

I went to a local builders' tool supplier - cheapest place for most things - and bought a tub of general-purpose Rozalex.

Can't remember what the price was, as it was a long while ago - I'm still using it!

A good motor factor's should have it or a workwear place like ARCO.

Now, you see, this had me puzzled. I went into the local chemist this morning and asked if they sold barrier cream and had to explain what it was to the girl behind the counter and they apparently only do moisturisers and hand creams. I then tried Halfords (by the Swarfega) and asked but no joy. I know we get it in work but I'm out of it now and straight to site on Monday. If Arco is open this afternoon I'll try there. Thanks peeps

condoms are more reliable

The Swarfega stuff sold at halfords is called "pre-work cream". can't find it on their website so they may have stopped selling it.

Another name for it (generic) is Aqueous Cream....

The chemist will have it, as it is used for a variety of skin complaints......and prescribed by doctors for such.....but you can buy it over the counter

The generic name is much cheaper than a branded name....and the NHS use the generic for prescriptions So ask someone at the 'pharmacy' counter (or the pharmacist him/herself) of the chemist.

Industrial barrier cream is usually quite a bit stiffer than aqueous cream (some of which I have in my bathroom at the moment)
