I have spent the last year worrying about the SU Injection pump for the Auster. It was the Achilles heel in the project and virtually unobtainable.
I finally plucked up courage, stripped, cleaned inpected and rebuilt it.
To-day I ran it on a rig in the garage using the lathe as a power source. I set up a paraffin tank(spraying Avgas or petrol in my garage did not seem
sensible) and all 4 injection pipes and injectors.
Absolutely brilliant result - lovely spray pattern and exact delivery from all 4.
Great fun and very Locost.
I really believe it is going to fly this spring!
watch out for birds and make sure you take off near water "just in case" you have engine trouble
Good luck.

Why bugger around with old bits.........
Just stick a scooby motor in LOL. The VW aircooled motor works well in this situation as well.
