I am after size M2 internal shake proof washers, but M2 spring washer would do.

(yes, it is not a type, that is M2!!)

anyone know where I can get some from, small quantity and no huge postage?

Could you try Maplins as they do some for smaller electronic componants.

^^^ just looked; maplins sell a kit but just nuts. bols and washers; but no spring washer, which is the part I need grrr.....

Used them multiple times with only positive experiences - great service

If it's any help, 8BA washers will have an internal diameter of 2.2mm. You might find them in Namrick, or a model engineering supplier.
