I have been asked how many litres/second a extractor we have for sale can extract.

Its rated at 480m3/h.

Anyone do the maths, pass on the formula ?

Spot on

480 x 1000 / 3600

133.33 litres a sec.

1m3 = 1000 litres

So 480 x 1000 = 480,000 litres / hr.

1 hr = 60 mins x 60 secs = 3,600

480,000 / 3,600 = 133 litres per second. ish!

Damn! Too slow!
