Im after hiring a car transporter or a trailer for my sva / dvla stuff

Any one know of any decent places in essex/east london area...?

if you dont change cars often, get a towbar. hireing a transporter for 1/2/3 journeys will soon cover cost.

yeah fit a towbar, i have got one for mine recently and it was a bosal swan neck (easy to remove when not using it) with electics for £100 off an ebay shop, bargain.

only one i know hire car transporter is in Suffolkcar transporter hire
if you have got a big enough car a tow bar and trailer is the way to go, if you still have to hire a trailer bare in mind they are normally big and heavy, if you can store one buy is the way to go

Yep im swaying the tow bar way,

been looking on ebay/google at mondeo bars £103, sods law, ive a 56 reg st and most say excl st range and all need the bumper cut which i didn't want to do

the bumper cut isn't usually a big deal, as its out the way and if you do it careful, you can't even tell as its the lower edge - unless you often lie under the back of your car I wouldnt worry.

check first mind, but that is usually all the cutting that is required.

If you're anywhere near Benfleet I may be able to help.
My trailer is nothing special, but I wouldn't charge an arm & a leg to let it out.

Fit a tow-bar - you'll be suprised how many times it will come in useful.
If you have the space find a cheap second-hand trailer and buy that too. By the time you've hired one 4 or 5 times you'll have covered the purchase price. Better still take russbost up on his offer.
Cheers, Pewe
PS And if you fit dual electrics you're all ready to go caravanning!
