need scart leads. Are they all the same, price varies so much, can you see the difference.Need to connect plasma tv to dvd recorder, sky box and vcr
You should get some decent ones for about £10 each. A lot of the cheap ones dont have all of the pins connected.
Always go for ones with metal plugs.

Yup. Good quality scart leads are the way forward if you've got a good TV especially for the DVD connector. Personally I use cheap ones for the VCR connections cos VCRs are so rubbish quality anyway...
You need this one!
Stupidly expensive scart lead
Just kidding of course!
If you're connecting an HD resolution TV to an SD source then you're middle of the road leads will be fine. As flak monkey said it's
best to get a fully connected one. Cheaper ones will work fine but may miss some features such as RGB connection, auto channel switch when you turn on
a source etc.
I'm the very last person to suggest spending lots of money on interconnects, but cheap and nasty SCART cables can certainly cause problems due to
the lack of screening (esp. on HD TVs which show up every flaw in the signal). Beware that some of the no-name "Pro" range cables simply
have gold plated connectors which makes no difference, the actual cable is the most important part.
You can pick up a good quality cable from the entry level range of companies like QED or Inox for not too much money e.g.
