Anyone else running this year? I'm running for a charity called Whizz Kidz (info on my justgiving page). I'm about halfway through the
training and I can now run half marathon distance

If you want to sponsor me put BEC or CEC in the comment section of justgiving(depending on which you prefer) . If BEC sponsors donate more than CEC
(by a week today) then I will make a new animated avatar supporting bike engined cars and have a signature saying how much I love BECs and how
I've been wrong all along
(which will remain my avatar/sig combo until I've run the marathon on the 26th April)
(I know there was a sponsorship thread on this forum recently so ignore if you can't afford/don't want to sponsor etc)
Cheers
Ben

Done - although I didn't put BEC/CEC as I think you would be suffering enough running that far!
No need to compound it further by making you swear allegiance to the BEC-side!

Thanks very much JUD!
I ran for Whizz Kidz 2 years ago as well. They are a fantastic charity and offer loads of support.
2007 was the really hot year and I suffered badly. My attempt at 3 1/2 hours ended in 5 hours. Hopefully it will be nice and cool for you this
year.
I've deferred my entry this year to 2010 as I've been injured
Oh cool, 2 others who have run for whizz kidz ^__^ I need to improve my diet. At the moment I've lost a bit of weight (but not much) Still about 103kg. My body has visibly changed a lot, thinner in the face, muscle definition in my legs but I really want to lose more fat (I literally want my power to weight to come down to put less stress on my joints and use less energy per mile) Any tips from runners?
