Will plastic/nylon 10mm p-clips be suitable to attach an 8mm (inside diameter) fuel line to the chassis?

Depends on the OD of the pipe!

Copper pipe yes, rubber pipe no. Rubber pipe typically has a 16mm OD.

ok thanks, I suppose I will have to be patient and order the p-clips after getting the fuel pipe
I think the pipe will be rubber, from here:

I am using a carbed R1 engine, but this should be fine shouldn't it?
