I can find a record of £100,500 being paid (Bohehams, 2007) for a 1960's cooper s works that won the 1965 RAC rally. Ive been led to believe one
sold recently for more than that though. Does anyone have any info about them?
Does anyone have a list of reg numbers of genuine works cooper S's?
I think the highest price paid was for one of 3 cars that were built at the same time, one was probably driven by Paddy Hopkirk.

The Swarovski one?
I think there's actually a few of these, I'm pretty sure I saw one well wrapped up at Ripley's Believe It or Not in London while they
were building the place...

I know four numbers of genuine works Cooper S's that competed in the Monte Carlo Rally.
1964 First Win of Monte was 33EJB
1965 Second win at Monte AJB44B
1967 Third win LBL6D
1968 3rd, 4th, 5th places ORX777E
Hope that helps a bit Darren

I was thinking of prices fro genuine old cars not fancy arty type ones. Mailnt Cooper S works cars.
I think i know someone with one of the 3 specials built for Paddy Hopkirk. He still rallies it too.
