I've tinkered with buying and selling shares over the past few years, nothing major, more out of interest than outright financial gain. As you
might expect some have paid a little and others have lost a little.
Researching this complex subject on the web brings up a lot of info, again some good, some not so good.
So, does anyone here dabble in shares or trade for a living?
Can anyone recomend some entry level reading or websites for a beginner?
Well, its along the same lines and can be called trading.
I spread bet on the movement of FOREX currencies and major FTSE 100 share companies.
No actual buying and selling just trading the movement of the price.
Google Capital Spreads and City Index.
Risks too big for ya? When that gets too hot for me theres always online poker.....

Haven't looked at that type of thing before I must admit.
I'm more interested in longer term investing - research techniques, building and balancing a portfolio etc.
