i think he is making a bit of a mountain out of a mole hill there, i had no problems with the DVLA or VOSA. everytime i needed help a just picked up the phone. he says that his SVA was over three hours long, my question to him would be 'how well did you build the car' the only reason SVA take that long is if there is loads of stuff wrong with it ie ITS A S**T BUILD! my SVA was a couple of hours and spent a bit of time talking to the SVA man and making small modifications. just look at the photo of the car, there are external projections everywhere!
didnt tony divey design the esprit ?
Yep, SVA was a cake walk for me, even though I was bricking it at the time.
It only took 2 hours and if he'd actually broken into a walk it would have been very quick... The longest bit was me drilling the bias bar and
hammering the roll pins in.
And I have to say DVLA were a dream as well.
If I'd had the insurance it would have been on the road the same day despite me turning up unannounced on the way back from the test. £ days
later with insurance and jobs a good un'
