does anyone know what the thread is on a standard pinto water temp sensor, i can't find my thread measurers.

reason being i have a racetech temperature gauge and the std pinto sensor makes the gauge read higher than what the water temp actually is, so i need to get the racetech sensor and need to know which thread size to get

cheers fella, looking at the sensors none of them are 1/8, there is a 5/8 but that will obviously be too big, is there anywhere else in the block you can take the temperature from? (other wholes etc)

If your inlet manifold has it, you can put a temp sensor inbetween cylinders 2 and 3. Thread is 1/4"npt.

Otherwise you'll need to fit it in the top hose to the rad in an adaptor.

ive got the pipe between 2 & 3 but my MS temp sensor is in there.
