I still reckon the spotty kids on who gather on a Saturday night at our ASDA car park would try it on. (Some of them even have a chrome tail pipe extension)

Paddle shifted auto box?

mr henderson - 15/3/09 at 08:34 AM

Nothing wrong with automatics, now that I know they are available for the Ultima I might consider buying one (although I would need it stretched a bit (as usual, another car designed by a small person))

I'd need the reactions and driving skills of Michael Schumacher to do it any justice and not the reactions and driving skills of Michael Winner that I currently have

No I mean if it's auto then why do you need a paddle shift? Surely you could have 3 buttons for forward, backward and stop?

You could, but even old fashioned autos have a way of sellecting low gear only. I expect the idea of the paddle shift is so you can decide at what revs you change up or down
