Hi guys, in the not too distant past somebody recommended goldtrail holidays for trips to turkey when there were a few threads on cheap summer
holidays.
Id been thinking of booking with them too, and I understand that recommender probably enjoyed a good holiday with them.
Theyre currently being slated on watchdog though for numerous reason. This is an article specifically on goldtrail, not a range of dodge travel
providers.
Hundreds of complaints a year apparently
ha ha having just seen that on telly, i read the first 2 lines of this and thought, 'erm....'
lol
i don't know, i think, if they want to, they kind find as much bad stuff as they want (thats what the program's based on) and avoid the
good. for the 10 or so bad customers they just had, there must have been thousands of happy (or at least content) ones
definitely, but no smoke without fire and all that. This may be a case of false economy!
I've been to Turkey with them. The holiday was really nice but Goldtrail were useless as a tour operator (in terms of providing information about
transfers, reps being available, etc.) The accomodation was exactly what I expected (from experience in Turkey) for the price paid, but if you had
taken their description at face value you would have been disappointed!
I think they are a good example of getting what you pay for.
it was me the reccomended them, and yes they are cheap and cheerful. matt is completely right about getting what you pay for.
we are off to icmeler with goldtrail in may and i'm really looking forward to it.
