i find myself in the rather boring position of having to wait roughly 3 hours for a train at london liverpool st, is there anything to do there to occupy myself with? is there at least some sort of seating area?
thanks al

What time will you be there? If during the day/evening jump on a tube and go sight seeing...

See if there's a bus at a more reasonable time instead.

Guessing you're going back to Norfolk, so if there's one at the time you're due to start waiting, you'd be home by the time you're due to leave. Kinda thing.

Been a few years since I was there, but I would suggest have a walk up to spitalfields - bit of a market sort of thing there to browse round, and a few shops doing stuff like movie posters etc - its about 5 mins walk from liverpool st.

If you are there around lunchtime, go into the rib and steak place called Bubbas (I think). don't let the terrible decor or tablecloths put you off. Best steaks and ribs I've ever had!

Have a wiz round the circle line making hmmmmmmm type noises as it pulls out the stations.

Or as mentioned go to the pub

Throw any bags into luggage storage next to platform 10 and go for a wander. Gherkin, Lloyds Building Tower of London & Tower Bridge are within 10-15 mins plus loads of other sights. Once down by the Thames walk along the river either side towards the Millennium Wheel. Alternatively spend 3 hours in Maplins 2 minutes outside the station looking at bits for the car!!
