Cant get mine out of the damned thing, its solid! Does anyone know if its possible just to replace the clutch shoes instead of the whole assembly...?

yup - very doable. Go for kevlar if you can. the is a minimoto forum, there is a guy on there you send your old shoes to, and he sends you kevlar ones at a reasonable price.
