How would it stand up?

Or drive without falling over?

I know it's a concept but surely some sort of reality check should have been made?

Getting it to stand up is a, relatively, straight forward problem in control theory, it's a complex type of inverted pendulum.

What I think would be hard is transferring energy into and out of the ball (drive and braking) close to efficiently.

These kinds of wacky concepts are all about publicity and sf movies with lots of cgi than any direction real cars will ever go in.

Looks good to me. I want one........
