I did some work on the BMW of doom yesterday (my 540i do-er upper) including fibreglassing and filling some holes in the bodywork. I had intended to
sand and prime it this afternoon but now it's been raining and it's all wet!!!
Am I going to have to sand off all the filler and do it again? Not the end of the world I know but still a complete PITA.
i don't think so. its polyester, so plastic, so just needs drying out if its got any water in any pores
i think

i think its fine...
think about final sanding with wet and dry paper
Aye, as long as you make sure it's completely dry before applying another layer or paint it's fine. As Miks said, just like using wetted
sandpaper
Ain't no problem. I did the sills on my tintop (filler over seam welded sheet thank you very much
) last summer when it pissed down all the
time. It was rarely more than 15 minutes from application before the heavens opened. Just let it dry whilst having a cuppa and onwards and upwards. No
problems yet!!!
