I would have done a poll but there isn't a polly thing on 'Anything Else'.
Whats the general consensus on promoting LCB? If it got mentioned in a car magazine, would the site get filled with numpties asking how to fit a
spoiler to their Mams toaster? If the site was stickered all over a few cars, would the site be a good source of the wrong type of information should
the need arise, if you see what I mean??
Or would an increase in membership be a good thing? More donations and a wider scope of experience?
Your thoughts folks. Input from admin most welcome!!

Think it could go either way, no way to really tell. Till its too late!
small and cute is best i recon, remember we had someone asking about damp proof courses as his first post?.
better without the chav element me thinks
Completely depends on what type of car mag it is/target audience it's for.
Nothing wrong with a bit of promotion in my view. A mention in PPC mag and some discrete stickers on peoples cars might attract the "right"
sort of clientele (sp?).
TBH I don't think people tend to hang around on forums not related to their interests so any "chav" element with their plastic car kits
and big pipes probably wouldn't be that interested in small lightweight, agile and well driven cars like ours

sadly without a more comorehensive discription, advertising/promoting using the website name alone is more likely to increase the number of queries as to how much a porch or a small rear extension is likely to cost.

I always promote it to members of my kit car club, But no further than that.
I like it as it is (without the muppets)
IIRC It got 2 mentions just in the letters page of the last PPC.
Cheers,
James
I think its a good idea in the right places, also as said the numpty chavs wont know wtf we is on about if the words nova, saxo subaru or corsa arnt
mentioned.
Also i think we should have a stand at the shows. There is enough of us for a small one i think. I know most of us are in different clubs etc but
would be good to be all together.
