if you can find me a unused landmine or something i will be more than happy. btw your about 4 years too late as cars were allowed to tear up and down the beach!! i used to love this beach untill they deemed it unsafe for cars as they feared an accident. as far as i am aware i have never heard of a serious accident there except for old babs but thats a different story. hope you enjoyed your stay. did you visit laugharne? tenby? and other

my parents moved to burry port about 6 years ago and have visited a few times..

spent the day visiting every beach from burry port to tenby.....

have raced tintops at pembury a few times too..

cool. i happen to work in burry port, yes pembrey is an excellent place even though i have never taking the car out on it yet!! sometime soon i hope.

My father used to compete in motorcycle sand races at Pendine in the 40s & 50s. That all stopped in about 1953, I think.
It's also where I drove a car for the first time, my dad's company A55, back in 1958, aged 7!

i think it would be good to set up a "visiting" section on the forum..

so if people are on hols etc they can post where there going and what dates...

and locals members can sudjest places to visit and possible meets...

i travel with work quite a bit and spend alot of time sitting in hotel rooms when i could be visiting interesting places/people...
