Should i buy a set of sticky rubber, R888s CR500s, or buy a set of alloy hubs, fit them with my Wilwoods and get some more weight off the car, currently 570kgs, money is a bit tight as i have been laid off for the second time this year, can anyone beat that

rubber - yep

Get the weight off the car cheaply!

buy the rubber and stop eating at the same time.

this way you get to do both and the money saved from not eating will cover the cost of the tyres, making all the upgrades totally free

Pointless going faster if the brakes arent up to it many a race is won on the brakes. pointless having 888's if road use only track days sure thing.

Best upgrade 99% of people can ever make is a good professional driving course.
Probably around the same price as a set of 888's

Buy the rubber, with you being unemployed ditching 20kg should be easy. Off you, not the car

I've already done that, in fact that was the first thing i did, far cheaper than buying bits of titanium
