Just bought an MG ZR 160
What have i done
They are apparently quite tail happy for a small hatch, so could be a laugh in the wet with lift off oversteer
I quite like the styling of them if I am honest
we like them too
it replaced a rover 200
Drop dead gorgeous little car -- nearly all Rover very little Honda in it.
Only downside on the 160 for diy is the VVC needs special tools at cam belt change time.
the cam belt was changed 3000 miles ago
agree greatlooking hot hatch!!
One thing to watch is the spark plug change interval -- just before they folded MG-Rover up it to 60,000 miles as a result it is not uncommon for
plugs to fail at anything over 30,000 miles and take the coil pack(s) with them.
Best to change the plugs at 30,000 intervals if using platinum plugs --- use genuine Xpart plugs or NGK Irridium.
If using conventional plugs use NGK BKR6E or BKR6ES and change them yearly.
