Anyone tried one? Any good? The 800W and above type that do 30 ish mph im meaning, not the sub 250W versions that are supposed to be legal without licence etc.

my dad considered buying a vectrix. until they refused to tell him what the range was at 50mph. bought a BMW C1 instead, much safer.

I fancy sticking a 10KW EV motor on my little 100cc Speedy....

I looked into building an electric bike, but legally you are allowed 200w for "pedal assistance.

However, get a couple of 800w hub motors - one front, one back, I reckon you'd have a bit of a rocket on your hands

I just use pedal power now, when I can get out on the bike!
