is anodising expensive, does anyone know of any companies that do it?

getting small one offs anodised in local firms they usually charge their minimum order charge. My local place used to charge about £25

not too expensive in the grand scheme of things as far as i know, the company near me that does it is norfolk zinc plating (they do that mostly, but anodise too)
You almost definately will have a company that does it near you, try yellow pages or something for a company with anodising in the name?

I've had some stuff anodised black.

I was recommended "hard anodising" as it's thicker so is less likely to get scratched.

you can do anodizing yourself - been posted on here - in much the same way as the electrolysis process..... but the DIY methods may not give as good results as the prefeshanells would do it.

Frosts Restoration sell kits but are not locost.
