Had the same email, but mine was from "Charmaine Mercedes".

Knowing very clearly that HMRC definitely don't owe me money this year made it all the more amusing

They tried to fine my wife for late payment this year - even though we filed on-line and all the data was in their computer! Got a letter 2 days ago saying they were suspending the fine! - suspending, mind, no apology, just supspending it till...when?...

Waw! J484.72! You've been sent an equation. Very generous.

I should think you just have to send them your bank details and you'll get a nice surprise one day soon
