just picked up a new car for the wife and kids yesterday a lovely honda accord tourer with all the leather and elecrtic bits. any way i want to paint the calipers and the question is will engine laquer be up to the temps, bearing inmind this is the family car so wont be driven hard. what sort of temp range will this work upto as ive got some in my garage..
cheers rob

Last car i did this on i used Hammerite metal paint. So engine paint will be more than man enough for the job!

Any paint should be fine, but you can buy proper caliper paint from your local motor factors that's not affected by brake fluid.

Yeah, i think its really the brakefuild thats the issue rather than the temp.
- 'specily on a family tin top its bearly going to even get warm.
