I have a friend who did a lot or research before buying his. I will ask him then put him in touch if you like? I think the only real problem he has had with his was a flat battery, you have to remove the wheel and inner wing to replace!

Just been set a challenge by a mate. He wants of to in with him to they a 2001 Tuscan. Ive heard there are a few things to watch out for. Does anyone
know what they are or have a buyers guide please?

Its worth checking the outriggers (outer sill chassis member) as on all TVRs they seem to rust and fall off.... Its not a difficult job to replace
them...but it takes time and money...
If you buy it as a kit car or other "project car" you will be fine..
If you buy it with the attitude that its just another "sports car" you are bound to be let down....
They are reliable but they have to be looked after....

One of the guys posted on Pistonheads 'if you are concerned about the cost of an engine rebuild then this isn't the car for you'.
Pistonheads is a good source of info.
A car with 20k on and no engine rebuild is probably due one 
The Speed 6 is a shocking motor, a time bomb.....
