Help! (Maybe should be in the wanted section)

My daughters just drove over a sleeping policeman in a '98 fiesta and the engine died. There's pressure at the fuel rail but no spark and the plugs are clean and dry.Any suggestions gratefully received.

if the 'crash cut off sensor' took a knock then that could do it, not sure where its located in that car.

Could be the fuel pump inertia switch needs resetting, i think its down in the drivers footwell behind a trim panel near the floor.

if she's triggered that - how fast was she going???

I'd also have a quick check of the suspension etc once its running!

Tried the inertia switch seems ok (would I be getting fuel pressure if it wasn't?)Had a plug out to test for a spark -None.

this happened to my sisters fiesta when she bumped up a kerb, cause was found to be with a broken earthing ring crimp terminal in engine bay.

Just checked, the engines earthed and there's 12 volts on the centre pin of the coil pack. Has anyone another suggestion please?
