Yet another Ebay problem
speedyxjs - 9/5/09 at 11:51 AM

I sold an item on ebay last week with a price for delivery and iv just received an email from the buyer saying he could pick the item up tomorrow morning if i sent him an invoice minus the postage.
As i never know when im going to be in (due to college and strange work hours) and i know i wont be in tomorrow, i offered to deliver it to him Tuesday when i am delivering.
He now wants me to tell him when i know i will be in so he can pick it up.
Any idea's how to make him understand?

Just tell him that collection is not an option.

He agreed to the delivery by bidding on the item.

If he wanted to collect then he should have arranged it with you prior to bidding.

I'd answer by saying you never know when you are going to be that's why you made it delivery only. If he wants to come by on the off-chance that you're in then he can but otherwise he should await delivery as in the terms of the auction....

Thanks guys. Iv just replied that delivery is not an option an had a response saying that nowhere in the listing do i say that collection is not n option.
I think this could be an ugly one

He has paid you already?
That in it's self is acceptance of your terms for the sale.
If he wants to change things for his own convienence, then he needs to renegotiate terms, not dictate them.
Put in a complaint to ebay and they will soon put him straight.
