which mp3 player do you have and would you recommend, must be easy to use easy to download from internet and off cds from the computer and be
able to watch somethings like the BBCi player and budget of no more than £175 ish oh and if its any cheaper from the USA as ive got an aunt
and uncle there thanks

I know you'll get alot of people on here say not to buy them but I have to give 5 stars to an Ipod.
Mine is superb, everything works well, robust etc.
I am sure there are better out there but from what I've seen from friends the Ipod is very hard to beat.
Steve
i have had a couple of i pods and i cant fault them. especially with the bose i pod dock! headphones arent the best but you can get a set of senheissers for around £30 and they make a huge difference
I am responding from my new iPod touch. Not a crazy huge memory, but was able to watch the grand prix on it the other week streaming through BBC
iplayer.
I've always turned my nose up at apple feeling it's form over function.
But this device seems truely faultless to me
Martin
i pod i pod i pod
it just works with everything
iPod: because researching into other brand mp3 players with better sound, better file support, cheaper price tag, and battery life simply doesn't
matter.
:/

I,ve got a ministry of sound MP3/MP4 player, cost £50 on Ebay, its is unusual as it has a AV input so you can record direct from TV or bullet
cam(thats why I got it), takes SD cards so no memory issues.
It's been pretty good on the whole although sometimes freezes so needs a reset.
No support at all, when it expires it heads for the bin.
Regards Mark
iPod - cos it just works well with everything else (loads of add-ons for it, especailly car audio stuff) and it's a complete joy to use .....
I agree with everyone else saying Ipod
£175 is quite a big budget depending on what you want to use it for.
When is your phone due for renewal?
Some of the new mobiles have great mp3/4 players built it (iphone's and sony's etc). Also some of the new deals give a free ipod video or
nano.
good luck
Steve
The iPods work well, and i would happy suggest them to others.
I personaly find them annoying as there very non standard. They use there own plug/lead, they only work with iTunes, etc etc.
I have an iRiver hp140 and while not new (or compact) anymore by any means its works well for me as it used standard mini-usb port along with hordes
of other stuff, its works just like a big usb pen drive or external drive, so i share music/files/photos with it, adn i dont have to use iTunes.
etc.
Then i have a cheap 2gb unbranded solid state player i use for biking, which also works just by draging and droping files on and off within any pc
with usb just like a pendrive.
But no, iPods are good, but consider others. Just dont my anything Sony ever!
Daniel
the ipod range does look tempting but why nothing from SONY almost every other piece of electical entertainment gear i have is sony and it has
always worked well
and benzine ive seen the cowens and they look great do you have one, which one?
and as some one said having a video in or av in plug would save me some dosh when i get a bullit cam
oh i try and keep a cheapo phone as my job (car recovery) i end up breaking em inc 2 smashed N95s, eg phone in pocket and im rolling around in
the middle of a road chaining a stuffed motor and CRACK another new screen/phone
