My brother in law has had to have this when he had a tumor.

He said it's the strangest experience, you'll be asked to say what you see on some cards i.e. a picture of a car, and you'll say it's a zebra, you know it's wrong but you can't help it.

The surgeon then works around it.

touch wood he's OK now, had surgery about 6 months ago

do you mean he couldn't help it, like he was joking, or the words just come out wrong and theres nothing he can do about it?

I remember something like this, they cut a part in the middle that connects the two halves of brain together. If they see 2 different pictures with the left and right eyes they couldn't draw (or mention) both pictures with both hands.

no i meant He had no choice his brain wasn't working right, like you just saw with the speech test they did.

They made it quite clear it's not a good idea to joke about that, he said he spent most of the operation talking about his new baby, which kept his mind in the frame shall we say

i didn't see any of it was going to sort of go back now and then, but just ended up with a power cut for about and hour
