Any recomendations on prouct/price for a pressure washer
Looking at £50-150 range., general home and car jobs.
??
Argos had one for twenty something quid the other day.
I got a red devil one for £20 from Currys about 2 years ago and its still going. Ive used it maybe 5 or 6 times, including for about 2 hours washing the patio one day.
What ever you get, buy some paper masks and some eyeshields. I use a full face visor as it steams up less.
Not wearing a paper mask put me in hospital for 14 days, and completely paralysed me.
I washed the drive, and breathed in the algae blown up in the water mist. This caused my imune system to attack my nervous system, causing the
paralysis.
I spent 6 months off work learning to walk and hold a cup of tea again etc etc.
A simple paper mask would have probably prevented it.
Pressure washers are excellent tools.
Just be careful and assess the risks, and wear the apropiate protective clothing.
Especially eye protection, a rust or paint flake with 1500psi behind it would slice your eyeball in two in an instant.
Sorry for the doom and gloom, but its affected my life for the last 15 years. I never fully recovered, and never will. I just dont want to see anyone
put them selves at risk through not taking precautions.

free kärcher with Tesco car and hoe insurance.
I have a Karcher and can recommend them as a brand.

be careful with the karcher ones, the cheapers ones (ie less than £200 ish) use a plastic pump body which fail quite often.
best bet for the money are the nilfisk ones which are made by KEW,
some good prices at CPC
