If my missus sees this post we're gonna have to have words, she loves this sort of thing and is always bending my ear about getting a speedster or similar.

(She even likes the Banham X21 - loser)

scudderfish - 29/6/09 at 09:02 PM

140hp mid engined and 900kg, could be fun.

Bigheppy - 29/6/09 at 09:05 PM

Wonder where you saw that, coronation street was it. I must admit I was wondering what it was, Rosie says it cost £25000.
Eznfrank hope your wife dosen't like corrie or your in trouble.

Sorry, got to take issue with you guys - firstly the 'ghastly website' - it is brilliant, unusual, stylish, very quick loading and innovative.

I now drive the wife's Daihatsu Sirion (I had to sell my boring TDI passat - funds for the 'build'. But - this is a bit retro looking shopping trolley, which is a bit of a "dog" in sheep's clothing as it has a 1.3 yaris vvti engine-but is much lighter than the yaris - no cambelt to snap, either. And at 0-60 in 9.5 seconds is a second quicker than the copen which is supposed to be their 'sports' car!

Now who's going to be the first to take those two bits of info and take the p*ss...............

eznfrank - 29/6/09 at 09:14 PM

Ah well, if Rosie Websters angling for a ride in one I could be tempted (She is the older one....right??)

Bigheppy - 29/6/09 at 09:16 PM

Oh yes. The tart she's bought one. Not that I watch it though cough cough

when you start the website, there's 3 or 4 picture of the car, if you click on gallery you only get 1, if you click back, you get one, and if you click home you get 1. its just not very familiar. after a little while i noticed the 5 buttons underneath that blended in to the background. if you click on presentation they disappear altogether, and changew into a tiny button called 'menu'

and all the text looks like its been translated from french to english using babelfish. a leather trimmed control lever? is that the choke lever? heater lever?

speedyxjs - 30/6/09 at 06:19 AM

I quite like it (the car not the site ). It has the lines of classic porches

MikeR - 30/6/09 at 06:27 AM

hmmm .... the frame is 'multi tubular' ..... does that mean space frame?

I quite like it.
