I use http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/ They are pretty good.... their rubber backed non rot carpet would work

metal trea plate effect vinyl, water proof and if it starts to wear simply replace. I attached mine to some marine ply as a template and to stop the vinyl moving around.

I used woolies, bought tons of it for a few cars plus the proper felt soundproofing. Good valve and good quality

Trim carpet is something I have been trying to find for some time - the stuff we use at work is the best I have ever used , latex backed/moldeable and well stretchable .
So I have given up looking , and I'm about to order a 30 metre x 2 metre roll of black (as I have two Furies to trim...)
This will leave me with a bit spare.............
