Classic F1
trikerneil - 9/7/09 at 03:47 AM

Just on the offchance anyone else is up at this ungodly hour.

The BBC are showing classic F1 on freeview ch301 - the 1982 German GP - the one when Piquet had a punchup with Salazar.

Nice to see all those old cars bobbing about the track.

Not only the 1982 GP, but many others all night, wasn't it great to hear Murry & James again. They showed the GP's from the 40's 60's 80's 90's, and last years, Mansell, Prost, Senna, Moss, Schumy and all the other greats. Absolutey brilliant, but why at that hour, it would have made great evening entertainment. Barry

They do show them at various times, it depends what other sport is going on tho. I imagine they have red button coverage of the ashes getting in the way.

If you have cable or sky, they're on all the time from Weds - Fri on a loop. You can also watch them on t'interweb, from the bbc.co.uk/f1 pages

Cheers
