Sorry, been thinking about bike ownership again and realised it!
The quietness has annoyed me a bit. Only managed about 30 posts today

Been to the Asda's for my beer, its tonking down outside, no way I'm going out in that!
Well I got some garage work in yesterday. Trial fitted gearbox (quaif type9) onto raw bellhousing fitted with Burton hydraulic clutch onto my 4age 20v. It fits, so, removed from car, fitted nice lightweight flywheel and new clutch and reassembled the lot. Few panels to do then ready to drop the motor in.
oldtimer
you dont mess about do you
coozer
the beer shopping was done yesterday
altho i really do need a night on the town
....well...actually...I feel I get so little done on the car - weeks/months go by sometimes - I was just delighted to be able to report some jobs completed. I wonder how long it'll take me to do some paneling??...

hows it coming alonge ???
This thread got me thinking (trying to remember) how long it has been since I last "had a night out"?
Thanks for reminding me what a sad git with no mates I turned out to be!!!
Of course I didn't / don't count standing on the end of Platform 5 at Ashford International recording the Eurostar Numbers as they hurtle
past.
Bl**dy good fun that
Now where is my anorak..?
I've been fitting my gearbox oil cooler.
The rad fan had to be remounted about 2" higher to give space for it just in front of the rack. Made up new pipework and support brackets, cut
holes in the nose cone for air to get in:
Oil cooler fitted
...and then noticed the 'MK' logo is skew
Now need a nice sunny day to check it out - at least there were no leaks on first fire-up.
John.
