Driving on the autobahns can be scary - their road laws are very strict about flashing lights at people in your way so, instead, they sit 30cms off your back bumper at 100+mph. On several occasions I've been waiting for someone to pull over in front of me, while all I can see in my rear-view mirror is the windscreen of the car behind - so close that I couldn't even see their bonnet!
