For a martial arts film, I couldn't recommend Kung Pow - Enter the Fist high enough There are trailers on utube.

one of my faves at the minute is Taken with Liam Neeson
top film had to be ong bak its amazing, bit of rambo is good, black hawk down,
Get some Tarantino like Deathproof, Pulp fiction, Jackie Brown, Res Dogs and maybe Planet Terror (just maybe).
Then throw in Vanishing point, Ronin, Lock Stock and Snatch and your sorted for a bit.
The Bourne series, Lock stock, The bank job, snatch, layer cake. can you see the theme here.
"Taken" with Liam Neeson (and Luc Besson) is probably the best action film of the last year
If you want funny too, "In Bruges" is really good.

The Warriors! Bit dated but still a good film!

Lots of people seem to like the Bourne films. I remember watching a bit of one of them and just finding Matt Damon in very-obviously-sped-up fight
scenes hilarious, which totally ruined it. Is it actually a decent trilogy if you can get past that aspect?
