Drill on screwfix
For sds i use a really cheap one, almost disposable. Lasts a year easily:
Cheap sds
Though of course you would need 110v.
I also have a dewalt 18v cordless but since the bushes started to go i havent got it out.

Hi Stuart.
Check out dewalt in screwfix, the more you pay the better the drill, cheep ones crap and batts always on charge.
Mike also sparky.
hi, i do not need sds, the company supplies them, i am gooing to speak to my boss wenesday, and see what he says about a drill.
but i would like lithuim, but i can not afford it.
well taht is all ways the story.
what are normaly 18v makita/dewalt/hitachi battery tools last?
as well radios? does very one have one.lol
thanks
stuart
makita all the way for me ,the 14.4 drills are incredibly powerful and very robust compared to dewalt which feel and look cheap.the mak radio is very good, like you i would like the lithiem but they are pricey.
just seen a 14.4v drill and a 14.4v impact driver with 3batterys for £120 plus postage doe sthat sound good?
thanks
stuart
think my 18v makitas are getting on to two years old now.
For radio, i just use an asda digital radio, about £15.
Its Makita for me every time. Have 18v lithium 2 and 3 speed drill/drivers, impact drill, wood circular saw, metal circular saw, jig saw, angle
grinder, torch. and a 1.5ah battery which is very light.
Bought all these naked off ebay. got the anniversary 2 speed drill/driver for £45!! Got a charger and 2 battery locally.
Once you use the saws you will never pick up a hand saw again.
All work tools are Makita and never had a fault with any.
Hope this helps you choose Makita 18v Lithium.
