eccsmk - 30/7/09 at 11:41 AM

its my youngest brothers 18th birthday soon and i havent a clue what to get him
dad quite fancies booking a driving experience day somewhere
but being tight i suggested finding an airfield and sending him out in the indy

anyone got any suggestions?
thank you

A days moto cross riding!
Me and my best mate did it for his 21st.
Was around £110 each, for a full days riding and tuition on a track, lunch, bike hire all included. We took our own protective gear which made it abit cheaper. Those driving experiences dont last long apparently?

"...i suggested finding an airfield and sending him out in the indy..."

silverstone and brands do quite a good single seater day you get a couple of hours in the car rather than 20 mins on a ferrari day.

slightly cheaper option Karting is always good fun and plus you can get involved as well show him how to drive

if he's into his cars could always take him to your local track when they have racing on brands and WTCC was always my fave

Saw that coming as soon as I hit "post"... just like I saw the barrier coming! :0

How about an experience gift voucher. Then he can choose what to do.

sorry but i had to say it

looked at those red letter days they are the ones the old man suggested.

failing that i think ill be a cheeky git take him to a trackday and book him on as a passenger and they go round the pits asking for a ride round

well i am sorting his track day car out for him what more does he want

What about zorbing? Never done it but always wanted to. Although when I was 18 I was too busy being tired and having red eyes and being hungry......
