I'm just south enough not to be considered one of you lot. but I am boarding on carrot cruncher territory

if you want a laugh and some education in the ways of Lincs speak then youtube interviews of Guy Martin are pure class. Explaining to Steve Parish the meaning of Mint.

**edit**
added to mad house

search youtube for
FARMER WINK
lives not far from me now he is proper linclonshire

BTW i picked up " me duck" from a customer of mine who's from nottingham

maybe its the way i say "water"
and ower yon side (proper lincolnshire )

My man of the moment, Guy Martin is from out that way, here are some of his interviews....

Some of Guy Martins interviews are below. He's a really clever bloke, but comes across very eccentric. One of my favourite riders....

miikae - 1/8/09 at 09:25 AM

Now then, Louth spoken as Lawouth or Loowath or there abouts coluquil spelling eludes me maatt, the Horncastle area is said to be the last place the old Lincs dielect is spoken by the oad uns.

Guy Martin' the man , King of Kirmington.
