i see there offer for 50% off ends monday. I find sat navs a bit like mobiles - so much choice/spec!! i suppose you cant go wrong with a tom tom (iphone in the mobile world lol) but what seems like a good offer from the halfords range? lets put a budget of £150 on it.

Buy a Navigo from Ebuyer for £45.

Either use the software on it - I like it, but most don't.

Or install tomtom on it - works perfectly.

It also plays videos / MP3s / Views pictures and also reads ebooks.

Yeh! I second that, I have two Navigo's, and have found them first rate. But I don't like the standard maps and use Tom Tom maps. Bloody good value. HTH Ray

Depends on how you look at it: buy a TomTom Sat Nav and you legally own all the software and can get updates with no problems. Buy a Navigo, and the only TomTom software you are likely to put on it is an illegal copy with whatever version of the maps you can find.

I have a Navigo and it's a good little unit for the money, but if you want the convenience of a paid for solution the lower priced TomToms are still good value.

Asda had some advertised the other day for £50.00, not sure what they are like.
